Point (price step)
The smallest price step a platform shows. On many currency pairs it is one tenth of a pip.
On EURUSD with five decimals, one point is 0.00001, so 10 points make 1 pip. Some channels say points when they mean pips, or dollars on gold, so a '+300 points' claim can mean very different amounts. Always ask which unit is used and what lot size.
