Position size
How big your trade is, in lots. Calculate it from your risk amount and the distance to your stop.
Lots = (account × risk %) ÷ (stop distance × value per 1 unit of price move per lot). Example: $50 of risk and an 8.00 stop on gold cost $800 per lot, so $50 ÷ $800 = 0.0625, rounded down to 0.06 lot. Always round down, never up.
