Slippage

When your order fills at a worse price than you asked for, usually in a fast market.

Example: your stop is at 4,040, but the price jumps from 4,042 to 4,036 in one tick, so the trade closes at 4,036. Slippage is most common around big news and at the market open. You cannot remove it, but a smaller position limits the damage.
